Gamers and non-gamers alike, playing games with friends is one of the best ways to kill time. Right now, there are a lot of co-op games that you can play with your friends. And by this, we don’t mean typical games that will bore you after a few hours. In our recent hunt for good games to play, we’ve tried a lot (and unfortunately spent a lot of money) trying out different games on Steam. It was a hit-and-miss but there were a few that stood out that we think are worth commending and sharing with other people.
In this blog post, we will be sharing our four favorite co-op games on Steam that you can play with your friends. Keep in mind that you will really need a fast internet connection for these games – no questions asked. Chained Together
Chained Together is a 4-player co-op game where your characters are literally chained together. You will then need to go through different obstacles to reach Heaven. The game is really tricky because you need to be precise. You have to move as one. Otherwise, the physics of the game will get to you, and you will all fall. It’s really funny, especially when you start struggling with the obstacles. It’s best if you play this with voice chat on Discord, for example, because communication is very important in this game.

Pacify
Pacify is a horror game, yes, but it’s pretty hilarious when you play it with friends who are easily scared of ghosts and monsters. This game is also a 4-player co-op game that puts you on different maps where you need to solve the mystery. There will be different endings based on what will happen to your team. There are currently four maps, but the scariest for us would be the Dolls. It’s so dark and you’ll see this scary white lady that you often see in movies while TV streaming. It’s really scary but it’s also super funny if you play them with your closest friends.

Carry the Glass
Carry the Glass is a 2-player co-op game that gives you and your friend the task of carrying a glass through various obstacles without breaking the glass. Well… you’ll break the glass either way, but the good thing about this game is you can retry infinitely. It really gets frustrating at some point, especially if you’ve been retrying a specific level. But, it’s really funny when you keep breaking the glass and slipping on the obstacles.

Overcooked 2
If you’re ready to ruin your friendship, Overcooked 2 is the game to play. It’s a 4-player co-op cooking game. You will need to strategize to prepare and cook food to complete order tickets. The fun and the friendship-ruining part starts when you realize that strategy is there but the execution is just a complete mess. You’ll say “I’ll cook and you chop” and you’ll see someone throwing ingredients everywhere while the other one is just standing in the corner. However, when you play this game, you need an extremely fast internet connection. If your internet connection isn’t up to the task, it’s best to look into better internet plans like Boost Infinite deals for example. You’ll thank yourself after.

If you’re looking for a new game to play with your friends, you can never go wrong with any of these games. All of them are paid, but Steam games often go on sale. So if they’re over your budget, you just need to wait for them to go on sale. Most of these games are not as expensive except for Overcooked 2. Happy playing!
